See behind the lens(es)

We’re constantly quoting these movies that we, as a couple, love (500 Days of Summer, Away We Go, Joe vs. the Volcano, You’ve Got Mail, Breakfast at Tiffany’s). We open a bottle of our favorite White Zinfandel and kick back and unwind to this movie we love, laughing loudly at all our favourite parts. We already know whats going to happen. What we love even more is to share this with our friends.

This should be your experience when you open up your wedding album. You sit back in your comfy chair, coffee in hand, and are taken back to your favorite day. Its all there from putting your mascara on and relaxing with your pals to Uncle Lou doing the Chicken Dance to escaping off to your adventureland with your very best friend whom you get to spend the rest of your life with. You keep coming back to that day. You laugh at all your favourite parts. You already know whats going to happen next. You are excited to share each moment with your friends.

We’re Josh and Carly. We love what we do.

We love taking pictures of couples. But what we love most of all is what we see once we go back through and look at the photos. Its like you are in on a secret, and you get to see how these two people love.

When we’re not taking pictures of couples we’re loving taking pictures of people and families and children and going on these long walks in Kelowna, where we take pictures of houses to one day concoct our dream house with. We’re dreamers. He writes. She writes. We’ve been accused of being hippies, but really, we’re just laid back and love life, and we have been blessed with two amazing daughters who make us laugh so hard and experience life all over again with fresh eyes.
